Coordinating Committee

The MetroGIS Coordinating Committee first convened on January 25, 1996 and has continually served as the primary operational body of the MetroGIS collaborative. The Committee capitalizes on the technical and managerial expertise of its participant members to:

• Serve as the main forum for determination of MetroGIS projects, activities and initiatives to be carried forward;
• Prioritize projects to be undertaken by MetroGIS;
• Maintain the annual MetroGIS work plan and align the MetroGIS budget to work plan project needs;
• Advise the Policy Board on matters concerning the implementation and operation of MetroGIS;

Members

The MetroGIS Coordinating Committee convenes quarterly to monitor the progress of MetroGIS initiatives. The Committee is comprised of senior GIS professionals representing a wide range of interests. Membership on the Committee is determined by the Operational Guidelines and Procedures
